The Joys and Benefits of Living Compassionately and Healthfully. In Other Words: Vegan.
A Tribute to Schuster and Michael: Loved and Lost

Colleen and Schuster

In honor of Schuster, my beloved cat of 17 years, and Michael Scribner, my dear friend, I tell the stories of the lives and deaths of these two incredible beings who left this world days apart from one another – both unexpectedly and too soon. They both filled this world with love and joy, and they live on through the telling of their stories.

Beautiful podcast. These memorial podcasts do me in, and this one was no exception. But I wouldn’t miss them for anything. What an incredible tribute.

If you ever go to Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen (and you may have) you must visit their little Memorial area way behind the three red cabins. There you will see a lovely outdoor fountain with hundreds of tributes to loved and departed companion animals. I was a mess of sloppy tears reading them. I can send you a link to the pictures I took if you like.

Again — great episode. You’ve done your two friends proud. :)
