The Joys and Benefits of Living Compassionately and Healthfully. In Other Words: Vegan.
Tempeh Bacon Cooking Demonstration

Tempeh is unfamiliar to many, but not for long. In this informative demonstration, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau talks about what tempeh is, reveals her secret for preparing it, and shows us how to make a delicious tempeh bacon that is full of familiar saltiness, smokiness, and flavor but devoid of saturated fat, dietary cholesterol, and animal suffering. It’s a win-win!

After watching this podcast, this was the first recipe I tried as a new vegan. I was so delighted with my attempt. It gave me confidence that I could keep going and just had to learn to try new things. Thank you!

Fantastic on Reuben Sandwiches. Growing up I loved Szegediner Gulasch, I use the Tempeh Bacon in that dish now and like it even better.

I tried this recipe today and it was FANTASTIC! I marinated the tempeh over night and cooked it for lunch today. I put it into a pita with spinach, tomato, and some Earth Balance mayo. It was delicious! This will be a new staple in my home.

I’ve been vegan for 6 months, thanks largely to Colleen’s encouraging and supportive podcast and books.
